weary traveler cautiously approaches the gates of the castle. He is seemingly overwhelmed with his first glimpse of the castle gleaming imperiously through the sun-filtered clouds. Although the castle appears to be an unbroachable fortress, the bone tired warrior makes his way slowly to the entrance.
All at once, the visitor is met by various residents of the castle. Not knowing whether to flee or stand his ground, his decision is made for him. The residents usher the visitor into the folds of daily activities taking place inside the main hall. The traveler is beside himself with all of the hustling and bustling happening all around him. He is greeted with a hearty "Welcome!" and a pint of ale and before he even realizes it he is transported to an open room and left alone for a few moments.
Left to his own devices, he can only ponder with incredulity as to the welcome he had thus far received. He had fully expected to be turned away, this was truly an unexpected pleasure. A lone, tired and battle weary warrior, he had only stopped as he was in need of some water and food to continue his travels. However, now that he had seen this place from the inside, he was hoping that he would be allowed to stay ... permanently.
At that precise moment, a booming voice beckoned as a figure approached the visitor. "Welcome to Legacy Realm, friend. We hope that your stay will be a long and fruitful one!"

Legacy Realm is a non-pk, non-pkk, non-cheat guild. We are a legit, multi-player on-line gaming guild. Our mission is to strive for safe gaming for all to enjoy. We do not allow trainers or duping under any circumstances. All items must be legitimate ... NO "hacked" items. No matter what game we happen to be playing, the most important fundamental traditions that we uphold in gaming will always apply ... this means honest and fair gaming principles with the emphasis on "fun" and "family" :)
Our guild was founded in October of 1997. We began with Diablo as the essential foundation of our guild and have grown to include other game titles and we are currently awaiting the release of the sequel to Diablo ... DiabloII! Legacy Realm was created by four of its original members back in 1997. Legacy was built from the ground up using elements from gaming experiences, other clans and guilds that the founding members had been a part of in the past, and built what you see before you today. The founding members are: Cyn, Pendragon, Gem, and Doby. Doby is no longer with us, may he Rest in Peace. Our brother shall be sorely missed. The remaining founders are still around and impart their knowledge from time to time, but mainly their administrative functions are few as they have "served their time" and now reap the benefits of what they worked so hard to once create. A team of seasoned veterans called the "Table" leads the realm. There are no more than five members at any time in the Table. In the Table no one is higher than the other. This is to ensure fair decisions are made for the Realm and its members. The Realm's structure consists of different ranks to balance out the many facets that we encompass ... there is always a chance for promotion in the Realm, except for those positions that are appointed by the Table.
The Realm recognizes the members' honorable actions through awards and ceremonies for their noble deeds. These deeds are also a means for progressing toward advancement. A note to those learning the Legacy philosophy: to advance in rank is solely up to the member. If you join Legacy Realm and only want to be a Knight for your entire membership, then that is left up to you. However, if you choose to advance and take on more responsibility, you will be aptly rewarded by seeing the results of your time invested in our fine establishment.
Our ultimate goal is for all to have fun in an environment free from those that tread on the path of evil and to uphold our principles in the spirit of fair and honest game play for all to enjoy.
